Golfing for Souls raises funds for Chesapeake Jail Ministries
Cloudy skies miraculously cleared the morning of the Fourth Annual Golfing For Souls tournament. The event brought supporters and volunteers together once again to raise funds for the Chesapeake Jail Ministry. The Ministry provides resources and services to inmates of the Chesapeake Correctional center and is supported through the Sheriff's Department, private donations and its annual fundraising event.
The Jail Ministry's Administrative Assistant, Karen Julien, helped organize the event. With her are her grandchildren, Angelina and Christopher. Their dad played in the tournament and Melissa, their mom, helped out too.
